The Band
Hard rock and progressive metal from Reading, PA — forged in 2008, still evolving.
The Story
Circle of Sanity was born in 2008 in Reading, PA when songwriter/vocalist/lead guitarist Josh Sapna and drummer Kevin Horner connected over a shared love of heavy, progressive music.
The name came from a simple truth: "Thinking about all the craziness that works its way into people's lives got me thinking that when we were there in our circle playing music, none of those things could exist there, and the name was born 'Circle Of Sanity.'" — Josh Sapna
At the time, Josh was deeply influenced by A Perfect Circle and had years earlier written a song called "In Circles." The two ideas merged, and the name stuck.
From the very beginning, the goal was clear: write honest, heavy music with real musicianship and real production — no shortcuts.
